A space created for real conversation

At The Language Cafe, we saw a problem many learners face: feeling confident inside a lesson but completely lost the moment they step outside it.

Students often told us they wished there was a place to practise speaking, meet people, debate ideas, and use the language naturally.

So we created that place.

A warm, welcoming space where learners can practise Spanish, Italian, or English in real‑life scenarios, guided by a professional teacher, with the relaxed atmosphere of a café.

Why The Language Cafe is different

Here, you’re not just attending a class. You’re joining a community.

Our sessions give learners the freedom of real conversation while still offering professional guidance.

You can speak freely, take risks without fear of judgement, build confidence through guided practice, and connect with others on the same journey.

It’s the balance that makes the difference: real‑life conversation supported by expert teaching.

A place that feels like home and opens the door to the world

Our aim is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and inspired.

A place that feels like home, yet brings the world closer through language, culture, and connection.

Meet the Founder

I am an MFL teacher working in both secondary and college settings, as well as a translator and interpreter.

I am professionally trained in English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.

I am Italian, but Spain and England have been a second home to me since I was young. Their language and culture shaped me deeply, and became almost a second language.

My education and career have always been dedicated to languages, communication, and helping others grow their confidence.

Who The Language Cafe is for

The Language Cafe is for everyone.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, a nervous speaker, or someone who simply wants more real‑life practice, we provide a safe and supportive place to speak.

Our belief

Everyone can speak with confidence when given the right support, guidance, and environment.

If there is no place to practise, progress becomes impossible. The Language Cafe exists to change that.
